5 Ways To Optimise Your Relationship With Time

THE MIND BODY WISE PODCAST

Episode 8

We all have the same 24 hours in a day. The same 365 days in the year. So why is it that some people seem to do so much of value and feel satisfied with their use of it, whilst others seem to waste it?

A lady looks at her black smart watch while the copy reads ' Mind Body Wise Podcast, 5 Ways to optimise your relationship with time.'

There are a few statements about time that you’ve likely said or heard often:

  • So sorry I’m late, again!

  • I would love to, I just don’t have time.

  • I’m so overwhelmed at the moment.

  • I know what to do, I just don’t have time.

  • It’s crazy busy at work right now.

  • I wish I’d have done it earlier.

  • I’ll get around to it (the dream, health or relationship thing) after x, y, z.

Sound familiar? I too have been known to say every single one.

It’s become normal to run around frantically and admirable to be ‘busy’. Except, what most of us either don’t realise (or forget), is that it’s really expensive to live in a constantly stressed or short-term thinking state.

We all have a relationship with time, albeit often a subconscious one.

Once I realised this and started to readdress my sense of alignment and urgency around what’s important to me, I started to relax. I found many of my patients and clients did too and hence this curiosity around Time became an important part of my methodology.

This episode shares a simple acronym with 5 steps to help increase your awareness and optimise your relationship with time.
