How to thrive as a busy active mum, bring up great kids, retain a great health and body, great relationship AND a sense of yourself. Did you miss out on 'the manual' when your darling was born ?! You're not alone. Many modern Mums are catapulted into a hectic survival mode that they understand 'will ease up' once the kids are out of nappies/sleeping through the night/ start school, so they find coping strategies which often kind of work short-term.
Thing is (and I hate to be the one to break this to you if you're still under the above illusion!)...it doesn't really ease up. It changes and of course the children start to get more independent, which frees up enough time for you to have a shower. But the fact is things have changed. You body has changed, your hormones have changed and YOU'VE changed. Which can be great, so long as you know how to handle the 'new you'.
I've had the priviledge of working with and specialising in supporting Mums and their families over the last 7 years, and noticed several trends. Many of these parents are struggling. They are determined to be brilliant parents, there is no doubt about that. But their bodies, their health and their 'self' is paying a high price. The constant stress starts to take it's toll and problems start to creep up on them.
There then often develops a sense that despite 'having everything', something isn't fulfilling or working for them.

Almost constant stress, and have difficulty relaxing
Pain (especially back pain or headaches), recurrent injuries, slower recovery time or vague aches and pains

I've designed a programme using a unique blend of my skills as a life and health coach, physio and pilates instructor, to help put in place the real essentials regarding both your physical and mental wellbeing. Once we have decided this programme is right for you and sealed our contract, we can get started. You will get sent a Welcome Pack - a questionnaire which in itself can be thought provoking.
This is where the experience begins, we will start to get really clear on where your current health, happiness and levels of fulfillment are, and where you desire to go.
STEP 3.
First session: a private 1.25 hr Coaching / Assessment Session
- Setting of goals and desires
- Create Action Plan
STEP 4.
4 further x 1 hr sessions are scheduled over 3 months, usually around every 2 weeks.

A final 6th 1hr session wraps up with a plan for the month ahead

WHY COACH WITH ME ?
These days I may look like I've gotten my act together, but just a few short years ago I was having a health crisis, career crisis, age crisis, relationship crisis, you name it, it all seemed to come together ! Had I had acted alittle earlier it really needn't have been such dramatic a wake up call.
I run my business in France (just across the border from Geneva) as a Life and Health Coach, Physio and Pilates Instructor. Alongside this, I juggle the needs of my husband, 11 year old son and 9 year old daughter. It's a constant work in progress to ensure that my life is actually in line with my needs.
Whilst I adapted pretty quickly to the parenting role, by the time my children were school age I was exhausted. It didn't help matters that here in France the "norm" is to let your children come home for lunchtime meals. The constant tooing and fro'ing, cooking lovely homecooked lunches and starting over at 16.30 became a tire and frankly a bore for me. Throw in a child with a medical problem and my frustrations at not working "properly" and I became a pretty unhappy Mummy. After much searching, coaching, learning I basically rediscovered what made me tick. Despite almost quitting being a physio due to the tiresome legislations in France, I found a way around it and became a health and life coach which to be honest isn't all that different to what I was already doing !
Taking the time out to check that life is as I would like it to be, is now hugely important to me. Having studied many methods over the last 18 years (with plenty of challenges along the way), I can help you to feel great yourself and fully equiped to raise a healthy, happy family without compromising your own needs and desires. I've tested the theories in my own family and learnt from those best in their field. I've done the courses and the reading, and seen what works consistently so you don't have to make the same mistakes. As a physio I've ALWAYS believed that prevention is better than the cure. The reality is that people often wait until they are in some kind of pain to take action. I sincerely wish that I had received the guidance I can now provide before I even fell pregnant !

- Is this programme for me or my kids ?
The Health and Wellbeing of our next generation is an area close to many of our hearts. The majority of parents would like their children to grow up to be happy, healthy and maybe 'successful'. I feel passionately that the world is not progressing in an entirely healthy way to support this desire. Unfortunately, the route many parents find themselves on is heading for burnout & ill health. How then can we expect more for our children ? My ethos is that for us to raise happy and healthy kids, lets start by being that way ourselves. They'll take our lead. For many we do it the other way around. We focus way to much how to keep our lovelies happy that we literally sacrifice ourselves. This is not a great way all round.
You kind of know what to do, but focus on your children or others instead of yourself. How will this programme help ?
Don't under-estimate the power of accountability. You need the knowledge, but knowledge does NOT equal results, only action does. With so many distractions and demands on your time, you often slip to the bottom of the priority list. Once you invest in yourself, you invest time and focus too and hence hopefully the results you desire come MUCH quicker than if you do it alone with the help of the University of Google. You also get the expertise to figure out if what you've just read applies to YOU.
