With over 20 years experience in the field of health and sport, my skills as a High Performance Coach, Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor are used to support you to do whatever you are passionate about. Maybe you are training for an elite sporting event, working a gruelling schedule in a top job or raising an awesome family.
I help establish that your overall 'Whole Health' is in top form, body and mind, as opposed to considering isolated 'injury', 'pain' and 'exhaustion' hinderances for example.Whatever your role, in this day and age if we are to excel then there are some essentials to consider.
Anxiety, Back Pain and Headaches, Digestive Troubles, feeling a 'bit low' or even 'lost'.
Just a string of unrelated 21st Century conditions that smart and driven people have to live with if we're going to succeed and push ourselves to the limits right? Maybe. Maybe not...
So many of our concerns: Body, Mind and Soul are totally entwined.
Are you starting to believe that you need to 'accept' that you just aren't getting any younger, this is just the way life is and these kind of things occur? After all, most people you speak to these days seem to relate to at least a couple of the symptoms. We're all under alot of pressure, so it's normal right? Common yes. Normal? Absolutely not.
There is sooo much advice out there at the click of a finger and so many doctors, coaches and therapists around to support you, that it can be hard to know where to start and who to believe.
The problem can be that the advice we receive can be conflicting and fragmented. We might ask the doctor to check there isn't anything seriously wrong. We may seek advice for the biggest of our concerns. Enthusiastically we try to get fit, we even commit to quite gruelling physical challenges to really push our bodies. We muddle around with a bit of guidance from the good old University of Google and there we have our patchy (at best) and harmful (at worst) 'plan'.
The truth is most of us haven't got the time for endless internet searches or countless appointments. It's also highly frustrating when we have made attempts to sort things out, but it's just not worked longterm.
Besides, is anyone out there truly performing to their full potential, healthy and happy ?
You're a rather busy person, so you might be thinking well yes ok, when I've got time. Once the kids are this or the mortgage that. Just pause long enough to think again. When IS the right time for you? Do you really need to wait for a crisis to occur to take action ? Or actually are you already nearly in crisis ?
The fact is, if we take the time and energy investing in ourselves then we really are best able to support those around us.
It can save you a lot of time, money and energy to be supported in a way which respects your unique body, your unique system of systems.
I love to bust the myths and explain the facts regarding how to achieve and maintain optimal levels of performance with health and happiness. How to obtain sustainable results. How to staying focused and motivated on an informed path.
